The Penewit Center For Counseling and Education and Penewit Ministries  are  Faith Based Ministries. The Penewit Center is a comprehensive Faith Based care practice, offering Pastoral, individual, couple, family, teen, child and group counseling services. The Center's services and programs are available to all who might benefit from its counseling ministry. The Penewit Center also offers Small Business and Corporate employee placement services.

People ask the same questions, it seems. “Why did I do that?” “What was I thinking?” Why did I say that?” These are questions that never seem to be answered. We search and search to no avail. Something, it seems, deep inside makes you do things that you don’t want to do. Married couples struggle to understand each other; parents seek answers for their troubled child. Younger adults wonder why their life is turning out the way it is. Will I ever get married?, they ask.  Still others wonder where they fit into this thing called life. All very valid questions and each one can be answered if we know where to look.

All of our therapies are Bible Based. One of the theraputic counseling models that we use is Temperament Therapy. In short, God places our temperament in us when he creates us. We administer a Temperament Profile, which will take only 8 to 10 minutes to complete. The answers that we receive will tell us much about you as an individual as well as the dynamics of your relationship with your mate or child. Knowing these answers greatly reduces stress in the relationship with your family and allows us to develop a plan designed specifically for your marriage or relationship with your child. Then we capitalize on your strengths and work on your weaknesses. Stress is always a factor in relationships, and as we work with your individual temperament, you will notice a great reduction in stress.
