Kim shut down her computer and organized her desk. She made a “To Do” list for the next morning so she wouldn’t forget what needed to be done first.

At the elevator she saw some of the girls from the office.Tthey asked her if she wanted to go out with them. Kim thanked them but said no. She knew what they were going to do and it wasn’t what she knew in her heart was right for her. Why couldn’t she find a friend that had values?

In her apartment she threw her keys and mail on the table and went into the kitchen. All she had was TV dinners in the freezer, so she took one out and put it in the microwave.

Kim began thinking, I’m so lonely. Why can’t I find a man that can make me happy? What is wrong with me? Am I such a bad person that no one, even girlfriends wouldn’t want to spend time with her?

Kim ate her dinner and went to bed, just to get up and start this all over again.

Kim represents many single women and men. They are lonely and do not understand why they can’t find friends or have healthy relationships.
